Find out the MacOS version you are on and download the uninstaller for Flash for that version. Click on the Apple icon and choose “About This Mac”. Then open your browser and check the status of Flash Player. Finally, after this is done, restart your computer. Then Delete all the files in this folder. Choose Start and click on Run, next copy and paste - C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash - and then click on OK. Click on ‘Yes' if you see the message “Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?”. The uninstaller will not work if any program using Flash is still running on the computer. Next, exit all browsers and programs that use Flash. The death of Adobe Flash has been a slow one. Newer versions are currently supported, although some support status is actually set to change between now and when these updates are released.
Version 1809 is supported for the Long-Term Servicing Channel and in Enterprise and Education SKUs of the OS. Versions 15, while nearly six and five years old respectively, are still supported in the Long-Term Servicing Branch. Obviously, these updates are only coming to supported versions of Windows. Those are called 'C' and 'D' week updates, and they're optional. In fact, this change should also arrive in the preview update that we'll see the month before. If you try to not take the update, it's just going to install automatically at some point.
